ARTICLE ARCHIVE

Today, knowledge is only a "Google" away, but how many of us actually go and read what is out there on the internet; reading, studying and broadening our knowledge base? I personally love it. Once I sink my teeth into a topic, I can easily loose three to four hours on the internet.
The result, SPECTATOR was born! The idea is to provide every Namibian with light, informative reading material on heavy issues; "SMALL VOICE; BIG ISSUES", broadening your horizons with every monthly issue. At the same time I get to live my life's passions; business, writing, reading, research and of course graphic design.
If there is one thing I've learned from winning the Young Namibian Business Woman of the Year 2011 award, it's not to doubt your dreams but to follow them with good business sense.

SOLAR DIESEL HYBRID
Tsumkwe Power Generation
Tsumkwe is a small Namibian settlement in Namibia, situated 250km east of Grootfontein in the Otjozondjupa region. This area only has a few shops and is mainly inhabited by the Bushmen. Sperrgebiet National Park, covering 26,000 km2 is one of Namibia's best kept secrets. This is largely due to the inaccessibility to visitors for so many years. The park is situated on the south-west Coast of Namibia, bordered by the Orange River in the South and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. The northern most point along the coast is about 72 km north of Luderitz and it runs inland for about 100km.
ALLERGIES BUYS STEENKAMP
Anri Kotzee
Despite its name, hay fever is almost never triggered by hay and it doesn't cause a fever either. Also known as allergic rhinitis, this condition causes cold-like symptoms such as runny nose, congestion (blocked nose), sneezing and sinus pressure headaches. Unlike a cold however, hay fever isn't caused by a virus, but is an allergic response to allergens such as pollen, grass seeds, dust mites and pet dander.
